EXCELLENCE, NOT EXCUSES

Do you see a man skilled in his work? He will stand in the presence of kings. Proverbs 22:29

Excuses are everywhere . . . excellence is not. If you look for excellence (and the rewards that accompany it), you must avoid the bad habit of making excuses.

Whatever your job description, it's up to you, and no one else, to become a master of your craft. It's up to you to do your job right - and to do it right now. When you do, you'll discover that excellence is its own reward . . . but not its only reward.

An excuse is only the skin of a reason stuffed with a lie. Vance Havner

Making up a string of excuses is usually harder than doing the work. Jim Gallery

A Prayer for Today
