SHARING WORDS OF HOPE

Let’s see how inventive we can be in encouraging love and helping out, not avoiding worshipping together as some do but spurring each other on. Hebrews 10:24-25

Are you a hopeful, optimistic, encouraging person? And do you associate with like-minded people? Hopefully so.

Hope, like other human emotions, is contagious. When we associate with hope-filled people, we are encouraged by their faith and optimism. But, if we spend too much time in the company of naysayers and pessimists, out attitudes, like theirs, tend to be cynical and negative.

As a faithful follower of God, you have every reason to be hopeful, and you have every reason to share your hopes with others. So today, look for reasons to celebrate God’s endless blessings. And while you’re at it, look for people who will join you in the celebration. You’ll be better for their company, and they’ll be better for yours.

Be patient. God is using today’s difficulties to strengthen you for tomorrow. He is equipping you. The God who makes things grow will help you bear fruit. Max Lucado
