NO COMPLAINTS

Do everything without grumbling and arguing, so that you may be blameless and pure. Philippians 2:14-15

Most of us have more blessings than we can count, but we may still find reasons to complain about the minor frustrations of everyday life. To do so, of course, is not only wrong; it is also the height of thoughtlessness and a serious roadblock on the path to a life of abundance.

Are you tempted to complain about the expected minor frustrations of everyday living? Don't do it! Today and every day, make it a practice to count your blessing, not your hardships. It's the truly decent way to live.

Life is too short to feel sorry for your self. Rush across that valley so that you are able to spend more time on top of the mountain.

A Prayer for Today

Lord, I know that the choice is mine---I can either count my blessings or my disappointments. Today, help me to focus my thoughts upon my blessings, my gifts, and my opportunities. Amen
